Outstanding alumni awards: Bulsu alumni as heralds Of change in sOciety

Bulacan State University (BulSU) Alumni Relations Office and the Bulacan State University Federation of Alumni Associations (BulSUFAAI) spearheaded by Prof. Ma. Theresa F. Reyes, head of Alumni Relations Office, have devised the Outstanding Alumni Awards program for the alumni who have manifested exceptional and praiseworthy performance in their chosen career last December 6, 2022 at Bulacan State University E-library Function Room.

For so many years, Bulacan State University (BulSU) has been producing graduates who exists to produce highly competent, ethical and service-oriented professionals that contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic growth and development of the nation. Some alumni have also distinguished themselves in the chosen field and in the process have reaped honors for their alma mater.

Each alumni have successfully passed these criteria: Must have graduated from any curricular program of the BulSU, Outstanding Achievements and Exceptional Contributions, Must have demonstrated commitment to the realization of the ideals embodied in the University’s vision and mission, and goals, particularly its core values, must have earned peer recognition in their field, industry, specialization, or expertise where they are acknowledged to be in good community and professional standing, and must lead a life of moral integrity and uprightness, traits that are worthy of emulation by the young.

Many alumni have been nominated for these awards; this was open to all BulSU alumni and was posted in the BulSU Official Fb page. However, out of all these nominees, these people have been chosen by the committee.

The Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, BulSU university president, and Dr. Teody C. San Andres, BulSU executive vice president, joined together to give awards and token of appreciation to the awardees. After receiving the award, each awardee was given a moment to give their successful stories to the crowd.
