In the bustling halls of academe, where the pursuit of knowledge reigns supreme, there exists a silent force that often goes unnoticed: faculty development. Behind every groundbreaking research paper, every impassioned lecture, and every transformative classroom experience lies a dedicated group of educators continuously honing their craft. Faculty development serves as the cornerstone of academic excellence, offering educators the tools, support, and inspiration they need to flourish in their roles.
TheBusinessAdministrationDepartment (BA) of BSU Sarmiento Campus proved an excellent faculty developed with 14 members, five (5) of whom have a doctorate degree and nine (9) have a master’s degree, also pursuing their doctorates. In the dynamic environment of modern academia, faculty development is not only a necessity but also a beacon that guides educators throughthecomplexterrain.
IIt encompasses a range of initiatives designed to empower faculty members, foster professional growth, and ultimately elevate the quality of education imparted to students. In this regard, we acknowledge Prof. Jason C. Santos, MBA, and Dr. Marlon D. Hernandez for successfully presenting their research entitled "Evaluating Academic Performance of Students in the Philippines based on Educational Strands" at the 16th International Conference on Modern Research in Management, Economics and Accounting (MEACONF) held in Berlin, Germany last March 14-16, 2024. The MEACONF, now in its 16th edition, is an international conference on modern research in management, economics, and accounting, with hundreds of researchers participating from all over the world for the past 11 years. Accepted papershavepublicationopportunitiesin various indexed international journals, including SCOPUS, Web of Science, and DOAJ,amongothers.
Thecultureofresearchhasalwaysbeen budding on the campus and this is just one of the many more future research endeavors that the faculty members andstudentsalikewillpartakein.
