Ear ly Chi ldh ood Westlake’s Early Childhood Education consists of 3 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten, 4 Year Old Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. These young learners explore the world with their senses and at their pace through varied activities and experimentation. The curriculum which is taught by

degreed, certified teachers revolves around monthly themed units with specific objectives for language arts, math, social studies, science and religion. Skills for physical, emotional, social, academic and spiritual development are interwoven within the academic areas.

Lower School Quality lower School education is critical to the development of today’s children. Westlake believes it is an exciting task to teach 1st through 5th graders as they learn to read...so that they can read to learn! It is our goal to provide students with a solid foundation in the basics of religion, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. This is accomplished through a variety of

age-appropriate learning experiences, including handson activities, which create a love for learning that will last students throughout their lives. Enrichment classes in technology, Spanish, music and art add to the total educational experience. 4th and 5th grade students are also eligible to participate in organized interscholastic athletics.

Mid dle Sch ool Students in the Middle School are in transition from childhood to young adulthood. Thus, these are special, exciting years as students experience sudden bursts of growth, not only in their bodies, but also in their spiritual, academic and social lives. Westlake strives to make these years stimulating, productive and enjoyable. We desire to be in a partnership with the student and their family as they

travel through these interesting, and often challenging, years. Our college-prep school provides a well balanced curriculum with an emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with a hands on delivery method.

Students are encouraged to get involved in after school programs including athletics, music, journalism, art and technology.

The Future is Now! With the addition of our Middle School, Westlake is moving toward its vision to become the premier PreK – 12th grade private, Christian school in the West Houston area. Exceptional teachers, quality facilities, challenging curriculum and a love for each and every child will continue to move us toward that vision.

Financial Aid Westlake Prep desires to provide an affordable, Christian, college-preparatory education to all its students. Realizing the financial commitment of a private education, Westlake Prep does provide tuition assistance to qualifying families.

To begin the financial aid process, a student must first be an applicant at Westlake Prep. Once the student(s) application has been received, parents will need to apply online through FACTS. Upon completion of the FACTS application process, families will be notified via email with an award letter.
