9 a.m. Banjar Walk
An intimate look at the daily lives of the Balinese, the Banjar walk treats guests to an insider's experience of the local village, or banjar, including a traditional market, neighborhood temple and local residence, as well as an up-close look at how fishing nets are woven, followed by the traditional Balinese offering of Canang Sari. It's a rare opportunity to discover the unique rhythms of local life.
10 a.m. Melukat Purifying Ceremony
A ritual to cleanse body and soul, banish bad spirits and bring good fortune, the Melukat Purifying Ceremony takes place at the resort’s temple. Guests are dressed in traditional attire and led through the experience by a Balinese priest.
