WEDIEDIN2019

In the fabric of our lives, the year 2019 stands out like a bright patchwork quilt, woven with colorful memories and feelings that linger in our hearts It was a time when happiness seemed to float in the air, and laughter was the melody of each day The holiday season wrapped us in its cozy embrace, filling our senses with the magic of Christmas The sky was a canvas, painted with clouds that danced in ever-changing patterns, reminding us of the beauty of dreams. The scent of summer lingered, a gentle reminder of carefree days and endless possibilities.

But as quickly as 2019 arrived, it slipped away, leaving behind memories that now feel like precious treasures from another lifetime Today, life rushes by like a whirlwind, with days blending into each other, leaving little time for reflection The echoes of 2019 grow fainter with each passing moment, drowned out by the noise of our busy lives

Yet, in the quiet corners of our hearts, the memories of 2019 still hold power We can still feel the warmth of joy, hear the echoes of laughter, and see the vibrant colors that defined that year It was a time of togetherness, of moments that took our breath away. It was a year that taught us the value of simple joys and the beauty of fleeting moments.

The beauty of nature was also a highlight of 2019 The sky was a masterpiece, painted with hues of orange, pink, and purple as the sun set Each day brought new wonders, from the blooming of flowers in spring to the golden hues of autumn The changing seasons reminded us of the beauty of change and the cycle of life

But amidst the beauty and joy, 2019 also had its challenges. There were moments of sadness, of loss, and of uncertainty Yet, it was these challenges that made us stronger,

that taught us to appreciate the good times even more We learned to lean on each other for support, to find strength in our unity, and to never lose hope in the face of adversity

As we look back on the year 2019, let us remember it not just as a collection of days, but as a journey of growth and discovery Let us carry its lessons with us as we navigate the uncertainties of the future. And let us always hold onto the memories, the friendships, and the love that made 2019 a year to remember

As we navigate the complexities of today, let us not forget the lessons of 2019 Let us hold onto its memories, its emotions, its essence For in remembering, we honor not just the year itself, but also the part of ourselves that lived and loved in those moments And perhaps, in holding onto those memories, we can find a way to bring back some of the magic of 2019 into our lives today

The year 2019 was like a storybook filled with chapters of happiness, challenges, and growth Each day was a new page waiting to be written, a new adventure waiting to be experienced. We laughed, we cried, we celebrated, and we learned We made memories that will last a lifetime, and friendships that will stand the test of time

One of the most special aspects of 2019 was the holiday season Christmas seemed to bring out the best in everyone, filling the air with love and kindness The decorations were more beautiful, the carols more melodious, and the spirit of giving more profound It was a time when we came together as a community, sharing our joys and spreading goodwill to all.

Ma'am Sherly Mae Sajulga. This celebration that values women in modern times was indeed successful. Gender inequality is a pervasive problem in many parts of the world. Women and girls often face discrimination and exclusion from education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. This not only harms women and girls but also hinders development progress. Gender and development is about understanding and addressing these inequalities to promote sustainable and equitable development There are many ways in which gender impacts development outcomes. For example, girls may be less likely to attend school due to cultural norms that prioritize boys' education Women may have limited access to healthcare due to gender-based discrimination. Women may also have limited economic opportunities due to discriminatory laws or cultural norms. Addressing these gender inequalities is crucial for promoting development that benefits everyone. The Bukidnon State University Medina Campus also promote the gender bender activities. Swap gender activities involve students switching roles or gender roles to raise awareness of genderbased discrimination and promote empathy and understanding. These activities can be a powerful way to promote gender equality and challenge gender norms.

PERSPECTIVE

Effective Leadership?

Leadership, in my view, is about more than just getting things done. It’s the power to influence and inspire others. A true leader guides and motivates people to achieve their best, not just by giving orders, but by setting an example. Effective leadership involves making decisions that benefit everyone, not just oneself. It's about understanding the needs of others and striving to meet those needs in a way that uplifts the entire group. When leaders focus on doing what's right for others, they build trust and respect, creating a positive and productive environment. This kind of leadership can be the key to success, as it encourages teamwork and cooperation. Leaders who prioritize the well-being and growth of their team can drive remarkable achievements, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

PERSPECTIVE

Effective Leadership?

Effective leadership comes with planning and execution. It is not easy to stay effective within the body of a group. It is also crucial for a leader to come up with effective leadership without looking ahead to the next generation. The people behind this effective leadership are already capable of executing their ideology of leadership. Having effective leadership can ensure the integrity and discipline of the group.

As a JFINEX Governor, I encounter different situations where I push my limitations beyond just to prove that looking for the bright side of the organization is a must to ensure that the body and their trust will never be wasted and that trust makes the organization work passionately. Effective leadership comes with effective relationships. My way of leading is all about inclusion; I never doubt everyone inside the organization. I always listen to their suggestions and feedback about my leadership. A leader will never know how effective their leadership is without the voice coming from the people inside the organization. Treasuring people inside the organization, keeping the trust of the body, and everyone being willing to listen to what a leader says are reasons why leaders tend to develop effective leadership in order to continue their commitment to change the way perfect leadership was.

PERSPECTIVE Effective Leadership?

Throughout my journey as a leader, may it be family, career, or school, I've come to realize that effectiveness isn't about wielding power, but about fostering an environment where individuals can flourish. It's about being transformative, giving my team the freedom to express their opinions, knowing that diverse perspectives lead to richer solutions. Empathy is key; I strive to listen to their needs, understanding the situations they're in, and tailoring my approach accordingly. Leading by example is nonnegotiable; I believe a leader is a doer, setting the bar for excellence and inspiring dedication through action. Integrity is paramount; I adhere to ethical principles and legal frameworks, ensuring trust and accountability. Transparency is vital; I foster open communication, creating a collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and informed. Finally, I embrace innovation, recognizing that the world is constantly evolving. I adapt my leadership style, adjusting to changing circumstances with agility and foresight. By embodying these principles, I aim to create a positive and productive environment where my team can thrive and achieve their full potential.

PERSPECTIVE

Effective Leadership?

As a vice president of JFINEX for me efffective leadership is a multifaceted concept that involves guiding and inspiring others to achieve common goals. It is a blend of vision, integrity, empathy, adaptability, empowerment, communication, strategic thinking, inclusivity, and service orientation. By embodying these principles, leaders can inspire and guide their teams to achieve remarkable results, fostering a culture of trust, innovation, and continuous improvement. Effective leadership not only drives organizational success but also contributes to the personal and professional growth of every team member.

PERSPECTIVE

Effective Leadership?

Effective Leadership for me is to know what your responsibility and willingness to lead others first. During my journey as a SIPAG V-President, I struggled to lead and voice out my concerns because I myself was clueless about my responsibility on our organization especially when we collaborate with the other existing organization here in BukSU-MEDINA. I also realized that knowing your willingness to lead others in order to show them how passionate you are on your position within the organization you are belong with is very important because if you are just there because you have no choice or you are forced to do so then that would be a big mistake that you will do in your leadership journey as being a leader is not just about it's title itself, it's also about how you are going to fulfill the responsibilities that are waiting for you to be fulfilled.

PERSPECTIVE

Effective Leadership?

Effective leadership does not only means you have done all the designated task that are given to you, as a leader you must possess an ability to shape your members characteristics and uplift them in any way possible. This means that a leader should inspire, motivate, and support their team, helping each member grow and reach their full potential. By understanding the strengths and weaknesses of their team, a leader can provide the right opportunities and encouragement for improvement. Effective leadership involves building trust, fostering a positive environment, and leading by example. When a leader invests in their team's development, it not only enhances individual performance but also strengthens the team as a whole. This holistic approach to leadership creates a more cohesive, motivated, and highperforming team, leading to better overall success.

PERSPECTIVE

Effective Leadership?

As a public administration student and a student council president,I've been thinking a lot about effective leadership. You're dealing with a diverse group of people with different needs and perspectives. I believe effective leadership is all about collaboration, communication, and representation. A good leader brings people together, listens to their ideas, and advocates for their needs. Clear communication is key to building consensus and keeping everyone informed. It's also important to be a problem-solver, finding creative solutions to challenges. And a little bit of enthusiasm can go a long way in inspiring others to get involved and make a difference. Remember, you ' re not alone! Work together with your council members, listen to your constituents, and make sure everyone ' s voice is heard.
