Our Goal Roebic Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1959 in New Haven, Connecticut with the goal to provide the customer with environmentally friendly products that improve plumbing and sewage disposal system performance without the use of dangerous or toxic chemicals.

Renowned for its high quality and effective bacterial based products; Roebic Laboratories, Inc. is in the unique position of being the only primary producer of bacterial cultures that also manufactures, formulates and offers their own brand of products for the professional, home and waste water treatment markets.

Our Commitment As the product line has grown, so has the use of our products by restaurants, hotels and commercial businesses. We have modified some of these formulations and added new formulations specifically designed for the restaurant & hospitality industry, to create a comprehensive array of products to solve the plumbing and wastewater treatment problems frequently encountered by food service operators. PATE NTE D ROETECH TECH NOLOGY Roebic Technology, Inc., a subsidiary of Roebic Laboratories, Inc., develops and markets proprietary bacterial cultures for the wastewater treatment industry. The United States Patent & Trademark Office has granted ROEBIC patents on eight Bacillus bacterial strains. These bacteria encompass the ROETECH Technology and act as the framework for formulations that are used in our powerful “Professional” and “Waste Water” product lines.

Our Professional Products ROETECH Professional products have been formulated specifically to perform under adverse conditions. Our line of products help to solve the difficult problems often encountered in food service or commercial waste water systems. Food particles, FOG, proteins, starch, and other BOD related materials are effectively degraded by the ROETECH bacteria; and the individual product formulations target specific problem areas throughout the entire waste water system all without the use of harsh or dangerous chemicals.

GREASE DIGESTION LABORATORY STUDY ROEBIC GREASE TRAP TREATMENT is a bacterial product designed to degrade fats, oils, and grease (FOG) in food service and processing wastewater systems.

Our liquid formulation contains stable Bacillus spores, including six of our patented* ROETECH strains, as well as a biodegradable surfactant and odor neutralizing fragrance.

Results of a controlled laboratory study show how efficient GREASE TRAP TREATMENT really is. FOG was reduced from 8220 parts per million to 130 parts per million over a 27 day period: a 98% reduction.

Grease Trap Treatment Your FOG (fats, oils and grease) control and elimination program is incomplete without the advanced biological technology found in ROETECH Grease Trap Treatment.

GTT has been designed to work in any system where large amounts FOG are generated and released; which makes GTT ideal for use in the Institutional food service and Hospitality industries. Regular use of GTT will significantly reduce noxious odors and also reduce excessive costs associated with high grease loads.

For best results, apply GTT at night when water flow is reduced to a minimum.

GT-Max Concentrate Systems which are undersized; because of high flow rates, high FOG content, or outdated code requirements, will benefit greatly from regular use of ROETECH GT MAX. GT Max has been formulated especially for systems with a history of excessive FOG related problems. This powerful concentrate employs the effective FOG and odor control technology found in our regular GTT product, but at levels which allow for its use in even the most difficult of systems. Regular use of GT MAX will significantly reduce noxious odors and also reduce costs associated with excessive grease loads.

Trap Sak FOG Treatment Block ROETECH Trap Sak is a highly concentrated water dissolvable matrix infused with the patented ROETECH FOG and odor control technology. This material is designed to slowly and constantly deliver powerful bacterial cultures to your high flow waste water systems where once-daily applications of other products are not enough to maintain proper biological activity.

TS is a safe, non-corrosive, non-enzymatic technology which can effectively degrade food residues, FOG, and other BOD laden materials and controls odors from hydrogen sulfide and other organic fatty acids. ROETECH TS can be hung in grease traps, drain lines, clean outs, pump pits, lift stations, or in almost any part of a waste water collection system.

Septic System Cleaner Septic systems receiving waste waters from food preparation areas tend to have high influent levels of FOG, BOD, and sanitizing agents. ROETECH Septic System Cleaner is specially formulated to handle “high load” wastes and works throughout the system degrading FOG, proteins, starches and paper in addition to many types of cleaners and sanitizing agents used in the food service industry.

Regular use of SSC can help to prevent the clogging of inlets and outlets that can lead to back-ups, overflows and unpleasant odors and is powerful enough to help correct overworked and sluggish systems.

Soap Degrader Soap and detergent build-up which can cause problems in any septic system is especially problematic when combined with the high levels of fats, oils and grease (FOG) associated with the food service and hospitality industries. SD has been specially formulated to reduce soap accumulations in sewer lines, traps and on-site sewage disposal systems which receive these difficult wastes.

Regular use of SD will result in lowered soap and detergent levels throughout the septic system and will therefore result in more efficient, trouble free operation.

Drain & Trap Cleaner Sink and drain lines in food preparation areas are notorious for slow drainage and back-ups. DTC is a safe and natural way to biologically clean your sink traps, floor drains, and other waste plumbing and to keep them free of organic debris, FOG, and other food particles which can be the cause of your drainage related issues.

Formulated with patented ROETECH bacterial cultures, as well as a fresh odor neutralizing fragrance, DTC will not damage pipes, plumbing or other fixtures; is non-corrosive, and is safe for worker’s skin. Main Line Cleaner Sewer lines and main lines can build up solids which can cause back-ups resulting in unpleasant odors, fines, and loss of customer sales. ROETECH Main Line Cleaner has been designed to clean main sewer pipes of grease, fats, sludge and paper without the use of harsh, aggressive or dangerous chemicals. Drain & Trap Deodorizer ROETECH Drain & Trap Deodorizer can be used to oxidize malodors without using bleach, disinfectants, or harsh chemicals. Use DTD regularly to end odors associated with floor drains in food service areas, bar drains where stale beer odors predominate and to deodorize other items such as mops or buckets.. Safe yet powerful, DTD works via chemical oxidation of odorous organic materials changing them into non-odorous bi-products.
