Western Lumber Gompony Entertoins Son Diego Hoo-Hoo-Ettes
I\{embers of San Diego Hoo-HooEtte Club No. 4 enjoyed the hospitality of Western Lumber ComPanY who served as hosts for the October n.reeting of the group.
The program opened with cocktails served on \Vestern's upper-level, outdoor patio. A buffet style dinner was later enjoyed in one of their large accounting offices. In keeping with the occasion the tables were decorated with Douglas fir and redwood shavings wound through ivy and fern.

A short business meeting followed clinner, with NIrs. Joan Henning of
Frost Hardwood Lumber Company, this year's president, trying out her uc\v g'avel for the first time.
-l-he evening's speaking cl-rores were tcamed up on by George Alvarez, controller of \A/estern Lumber Company, ar-rd R"y Prell, \\t'estern sales rep. 'fhese gentlemen prepared a slide presentation. "The Western Lumber Story," which told the story of the compally from its start in 1904 to the present time-and witl-r a short projection irrto the future.
