Gamerston and Green Lumber Co., San Francisco, rvas minus a good man for a couple of rveeks this past Septenrber during lvhich time Fred Ziese participated in the Shriners pilgrimage to Minneapolis. Fred, t-hose one vice ( ?) is playing tl-re bugle in the local Shrine l>and, had plenty of opportunity to practice, as there \\'ere numerous impromptu and planned parades along the \\'av to Minneapolis.

The San Francisco unit got underu'ay the afternoon of September 13, u'ith about 2@ members of the Islam Temple Uniformed Units. The train was their "home au.ay fror.n home" during the entire trip. The first stop u'as Portland, the next day, rvhere the boys put on a paracle. They left Portland the same day and arrived in Spokane at 2:00 a.n.r., just in time for another serenade. Tl-re next day they toured Bonnyville Dam and then on to Belton, Nfontana, where they got off the train and u'ent on a sightseeing tour of Glacier National Park. The next stop \\-as at Havre, Montana, for an impromptu parade. -A.t Great Falls, Nebraska, they disembarked from their rolling home for another parade and then on to Fargo, North Dakota for a scheduled parade follorved by a ltuffet supper at the Corrntry Club there. St. Cloud, Minnesota. was the next stolt rvith parade and all. The group then moved on to Minneapolis to join some 2O other temples, 10,000 strong, ior the rn'eekend festivities.

The San Frarrcisco group started iheir homen'ard trip Sunday, Septenlber 20, and arrivecl irome the 2-lth r-ia Omaha ('nother parade), Denver (6:0C A.NI. irnpromptu parade), a tour at Colorado Springs. ditto at Salt Lake City, a stop at Ogden, and then horne. Fred returned tr.r rvork rvell rested; hou'ever, rn'e imagine that l>ugle of his could stand some of the same after the u'orkout it got.

Dubs. Ltd.. held their 64th tournameiit at the Claremont Country Club, in Oakland, on Fridav, October 1(r. There was a turnout of 34 members and 6 guests u'ith the dinrrer follorving attended by 26 members. In regard to the latter, Dubs' secretary urges all members u'ho possibly can. trr attend the banquets follorn'ing the tournaments. Tl-re u'inners of the tournament were:

First Flight, low gross, Logan Ou'ens; second lorv gross, Del Travis; third low gross, Brian Bonnington : first lorv net, llarry Hood; second low net, Leo Chime, _f r. ; third lorv net, Nornr Miller.

Second Flight, low gross, Bill Johnson; seconcl 11.11y groSs, Art Grey; third low gross, Hollis Jones ; first low net, Bert Hasselberg; second low net, Bob Bonner; third lr)u. net ',ul'as a tie between Tom Jacobsen and Ev Len'is, u'ith Ev losing by calling the l,vrong side of a flipped coin.

The Guest Flight honors were carri<:d au'ar. b;- Glenn Marguand of M & M. Builders Supply, Tracl-, rvith first low gross and Tom Hogan with a first low net score.

The next Dubs, Ltd., tournament is scheduled to be held at the Green Hrlls Country Club, Xfillbrae, on November 20, 1953. The Club is located at Nfillbrae, about one-half mile west of El Camino Real. Art Evans u'ill be host for the day.
