Hoo-Hoo Club No. 9 Appoints Delegctes to Hoo-Hoo Annucrl
The directors of Hoo-Hoo Club No. 9, San Francisco, met recently and appointed the following delegates to attend the Hoo-Hoo Annual Convention, to be held at the Hotel Biltmbre, Los Angeles, September 6 to 9, 1948: Herb Schaur, Dave Davis, Wayne Rawlings, and Norm Cords.

Frolic
San Joaquin Hoo-Hoo Club No. 31 is planning to hold its first Annual Valley Frolic on Saturday, October 9. There lvill be a golf tournament in the afternoon, and dinner and entertainment in the evening. More details rvill be oublished in a later issue.

California continued to lead the nation in total construction during the first quarter of 1948, according to a bulletin of the Construction Industries Committee, Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, with permits valued at $493,500,000. Texas was second, rvith permits valued at $248,100,C00, and Nerv York third, rvith $238,000,000.
