Redwood Shingle Acsociation Mills

Adopt Trade Name ol "Y erigr"de"

Redwood shingles, which have been manufactured in California since 1832 primarily for the California trade, are now to be produced under the supervision of a trade association-the Redwood Shingle Association.

Frank Tehan of Tehan & Reese, Fortuna, association manager and chairman of its board of trustees, has announced adoption of the trade name "Verigrade." He said more than twenty-five of the mills are scheduled to use uniform labels bearing the trade name on shingle bundles produced by them.
