Los Angeles Hoo-Hoo Club Dinner And Golf Tournam ent lune 17

The Los Angeles Hoo-lloo Club rvill hold a dinner and golf tournament at the Lakeside Country Club, Long Beach, June 17. The golfers will tee ofr at 12:09 p. m. ' Dinner will be served in the Clubhouse in the evening, and there u,'ill be a fine entertainment program. The golfers will play for the Roy Stanton, George E. Ream ancl The California Lumber Merchant trophies, and there rvill be other prizes for the special events.

This rn'ill be the last meeting of the club, until fall, and a big crorvd is expected to attend. Send in your reservations early.

New Hoo-[Ioo Club to Be Formed For Coqst Counties District

Announcement is made that a new Hoo-Hoo Club for the Coast Counties district will be {ormed at a meeting to be held on Thursday, June 9, at Cademartori's Italian Restaurant, on the Salinas Highway, three miles east of I\{onterey.

There rvill be a Concatenation at 5 :59, at which it is expected more than 40 Kitter-rs will be initiated. There will be a fine steak dinner at 7:29 p. m. All lumbermen are welcome.

On the evening of May 5th the clan met at the Coronet Cafe in San Bernardino for dinner and rejoicing. Tommy Chapin, Vicegerent for that area, was in charge. There r'vere 35 present. Larry Wilson, of North Bend, Oregon, made a very interesting talk on reforestation in the West.
