"Vhere to Buy" - - New Membership Directory
A new and fully revised membership directory, entitled "Where to Buy," has just been published by the West Coast Lumbermen's Association. Detailed information is given on sawmills, remanufacturing plants, timber fabricators, a wood pipe and tank manufacturer ,and wood treating plants in the Douglas fir region of Washington, Oregon and Northern California.
Thirty-two new operations are listed in this latest January 1, 1950, edition which gives a much more exact breakdown of facilities and products manufactured by individual mills than has been possible in previous directories. Included are complete addresses of mills, sales offices and officers, production capacities, manufacturing and shipping facilities, and percentage production of each species.
The 1950 "Where to Buy" is twice the size of last year's edition. Inclusion of much new material makes it a handbook of buying information for Douglas fir, West Coast hemlock, Western red cedar and Sitka spruce. Copies may be obtained without charge by writing the West Coast Lumbermen's Association, 1410 S. W. Morrison Street. Portland 5, Oregon.
