I Jerry Tracy of Jackson Lumber Inc., Jackson, Wy., is the new president of the association.

The 86th Annual Mountain States Lumber Dealers convention will be held at the Jackson Hole Teton Village Resort Monday and Tuesday, Sept. l0ll.1979.

The association board of directors will meet at the Ramada in Casper, Nov. 15, in conjunction with the Pence Brothers' "6 Ways to Improve Return on Investment" there on November l4 and a big membership campaign dinner that evening for Wyoming dealers. All are welcome to participate.

Mortensen; Dick Gebhardt's Western Lumber Co., at Chester; Ace Home Center, Hamilton, managed by Burton Gillette: and associate member Emmer Billings, at Billings, managed by Chuck Thompson.

Establishment changes of interest in the industry include: Bill Thompson as new owner of Thompson's Valley

Lumber Co., Chinook; Harold Friedrich's retail establishment at Plentywood, Friedrich Lumber & Trucking Co.; recently consummated sale of Pip- pin Lumber Co., Saco, to Lawrence Mutzke, with the change in trade style to Saco Building Center. More recently fire devastated the office and sales floor area at an unestimated loss.

Kohl's Wholesale & Lumber Co., Poplar, is now Sunrise Lumber Barn under the ownership of Les Frantzick; a new establishment in Bigfork, in new facilities, is Sliter's, with Tim Dalton as manager; Ralph Eickhorst is manager of the new Johnson Lumber Co., Seeley Lake; Poulsen's, Inc., Great

Falls, is doing business at new quarters, Emery Matsko is managerl Big A Building Supply, Superior, is noW L & S Supply Co., under Dave Creighton as manager: and Tri-County Building Supply, Bozeman, is new in the retail field, in new facilities. Pat Herring is the man in charge.

Personnel changes in the area have been numerous. Among them: Arvin Imhoff is now manager of Midland, lnc., Miles City, yard; Craig Averett has been appointed manager of Midland, Inc., Sidney; Great Plains Supply has installed two new managers: Terry Mandy at Glasgo, and Dave Anderson at Havre; Arnie Nelson has retired as manager for United Building Center at Lewistown, he is replaced by Don Partyka, transferred from Plentywood. Taking over at Plentywood is LeRoy Kohler.
