THE CAT.A LOG

The Merchant Magazine

David Cutler, editor-manager

4500 Campus Dr., suite 476 Newport Beach, Ca. 92660

Dear David:

Thank you for the nice article on our National Hoo Hoo Ette president Colleen Courtright and the rest of the information. (See luly, p.36)

Next year we celebrate 25 years, so are combining that with the California Centennial. which should make for a wonderful convention.

Am taking the liberty of sending you a copy of our publication, the Cat-a Log. This was thrust on me and was a first for me, so any errors charge to my inexperience.

We put out four publications a year and would be happy to include you on our mailing list if you are interested.

Again, thanks Dave for all you have done for us in the past, and keep up the good work.

WHAT A FISH!

Dear Dave,

Enclosed is a picture of the Broadbill Swordfish I caught recently with my wife and Herb Koller and his wife fishing off Mazatlan, Mexico.

These fish are difficult to get to take the bait and hard to catch. It took two hours and weighed 197 lbs. and was 9lz feet long. I was one exhausted lumberman by the time it was landed.

IT'S A STRUGGLE

Dear Sirs:

I feel the same as Mrs. Jennie C. Mauer (Iune, p. 42), about more news on the Hoo-Hoo-Ettes.

We are a very small club in northern California and are struggling to keep going. We cannot seem to getnew members, Maybe if we had more news items in your paper and others we could start growing.

Our club meets the first Tuesday of every month, starting in October. We will be holding a couple of barbecues during the summer. Dates have not been set as yet.
