WO bills now before Congress legalize secondary boycotts.

Every one of our members should be aware of what effect they would have on the construction industry.

Secondary boycotts would cripple the construction industry by shutting down thousands of projects all across the country, putting tens of thousands of workmen off the job and adversely affecting business and industry of every kind.

Research, but its understanding of corporate profits is apparently worsening. In a similar survey in 1973, the public's estimate of the average manufacturer's after-tax profit was 28Vo, five points lower than the current guess.

Another finding: For the first time in 30 years a majority of the public believes the government should put a limit on corporate profits.

Congratulations to Northern Yards, Inc, and general manager Duane Wolfe. It was a tripleheader event on June l: Their buyer's workshop and product show marked the opening of their new 50,000 sq. ft., 5-acre facility and also coincided with their 25th anniversary.
