Simpson Streqmlines Distribution
Reorganization of Simpson Timber Company's nationwide rbuilding products distribution system has been announced by C. H. Bacon, Jr., Simpeon's president.
Simpson Wholesale Co. in California has been consolidated into Simpson Building Supply Co. under the Simpson Building Supply Co. (SBSCO) name. Harvey H. Warnaca of Seattle, formerly general manager of Simpson's insulating board products, has been named general manager of the consolidated distribution system of 16 warehouse outlets.
Robert O. Phillips, also Seattle, is appointed manager of SBSCO branch opera- tions. Haley Bertain of Arcata, Calif., is direct sales and distribution manager of branch operations.
Bacon also announced appointment of Orville W. Shelton o{ Seattle, former general sales manager of Simpson's insulating board product line, to succeed Warnaca and Roger Burda o{ Seattle to assume Shelton's former responsibilities.
