I S fHfS is my first time being rh associated with this column, which has carried Ross Kincaid's name for so many years, let me say what a pleasure it is to follow Ross and to have my thoughts appearing monthly in this space.
As you may know, I have succeeded Ross as executive director, as he made the transition to re-assume his duties as director of Western's Learnine Resource Center.

Smith has been with the firm in Eugene since 1962, 3_l-d will be replaced there by Dan Whedon, formerly of Centrai Lane Building Supply.
