Ed Baylis, Cascade Pacific, Sacramento, Ca., was married April 24, to Beverly Whitson on the patio of Bill Niesen's house, Ft. Bragg, Ca. Bill is the founder of Niesen-Ward Forest Products. Best man was Ross McCarty, American Forest Products, Newark, Ca.

Ralph Rundle is now v.p. for wood products marketing for Southwest Forest Industries, Phoenix, replacing J.B. Edens, Jr., who resigned to become v.p.-gen. mgr. of the bldg. mtls. distribution div. of AFPC, San Francisco, according to Ed Quirk, exec. v.p. S.A. Shrigley, presently a v.p., wood products operations, assumes responsibility for a number of SFI operations across the U. S. ; Glen L. Jones moves up to v.p. wood products operations; Donald A. Graves to pres. of their SWF Plywood subsid iary.

Jerry Johnson is now in the YP div. at Portland's Dutton Pacific Forest Products.

Betty Foster, Masonite, Calpella, Ca., is back from a South American cruise that included a tour thru the Panama CanaI.

Jerry Kullman is the new mgr. of the Copeland Lumber Yard, Corvallis, Or.

Robert F. Courtney has been appointed lumber sales mgr. at Roseburg Lumber Co.. Portland.

Edward M. Preim is manager of the new Parr Lumber Co. Hawaii office. A new office in Portland, managed by Jerry Geisel is now working with the Hawaii office.

George E. McCown has now taken over Boise Cascade's bldg. mtls. group, replacing Peter S. O'Neill, who resigns June 1, to persue personal business interests.

Ben Davis, ex-Evans Products, is now L-P's mill rep (Arcata-So. Ca.) for hardboard out of their Oroville plant and particleboard out of the Humboldt operations, according to Bill Van Noy.

Bill Perkins has joined the management staff, Burns Lumber Co., Encino, Ca., according to Gordon Woolard.

Michael J. McKenzie is now GeorgiaPacific bldg. products div. outside purchasing mgr. for West Coast plywood & particleboard, according to M. A. Vidan, plywood mgr. of the div.

John McCafferty has been named the new gen. mgr. of the Bend (Oregon) div. of Boise Cascade.

Miles W. Davidson, regional v.p., National Building Centers, Inc., El Segundo, Ca., has announced plans to retire at the end of'76. Succeeding him will be Asa K. Jennings, recently named asst. to the mgr., NBC, Western region. Formerly with Mobile Oil, his background includes sales, distribution and administration.

Frank Davis, exec. v.p., Arizona Lumber & Builders Supply Assn., Phoenix, has been named by Arizona Gov. Raul Castro as co-chairman of the Construction Industry Committee of that state's May: Energy Awareness Month.
