Lewis A. Godard, sales manager of llobbs Wall Lumber Co., San Francisco, is back from a business trip to Southern California.

II. B. Chadbourne, Salinas Lumber Co., Salinas, is on a month's business and vacation trip to Southern California.

Douglas Freeman has resigned his position with Gonnan Lumber Sales Co., Oakland, to join the Army.

Roy Ibach, Mill Valley Lumber Co., Mill Valley, Calif. was recently called for duty as instructor in a Naval officers' training school.

Herbert Malibo, partner in Economy Lumber Co., San Jose, was accepted by the Navy for work in the Civilian Construction Dept.

A. F. (Art) Blocklinger, manager of the Chiloquin Lumber Co. at Chiloquin, Ore., spent a few days visiting his father, D. A. Blocklinger, president of the company.

Dr. Albert W. Stout has been appointed research chemist of the Western Pine Association, Portland, Oregon.
