Mt.Assn. Changes Name
The Board of Directors of the Mountain States Lumber Dealers Association voted to change the name ofthe association to the Mountain States Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association, effective Jan. I, 1982.

Association pres. James Beardall,
Ogden, Ut., said that the addition of the words, "and Building Material," is intended to make the name more reflective of the broadening scope of the industry and the organization that represents it in the Mountain States region. He said, "the new name is also compatible now with that of the National Lumber and
Merchanl Magazlne Building Material Dealers Association in Washington, D.C., our national affiliate."
The association represents some 300 lumber yards and 100 supplier companies employing over 7,000 people in the five state region of Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
Other officers elected at their recent annual convention are Don MacDuffie, Casper Lumber Co., Casper, Wy.; Roger Wulf, Boise Cascade Building Materials Center, Aspen, Co.; Ralph Hutchison, Carroll Building Materials Co., Albuquerque, N.M.; Kay Clark, Clark's Millwork and Lumber Co., Roberts, Id., regional v.p.s. Ken Nelson, Everitt Lumber Co., Ft. Collins, Co., is immediate past president.
