John Crane is the new sales mgr. of Paul Bunyan Lumber Co., Anderson, Ca., succeeding Al Kerper, who is retiring after 27 years with the firm. John is the son of Ray Crane, president of Crane Mills, Corning, Ca.

Les Neadeau, div. mgr. at Higgins Lumber nt'l div., Rocklin, Ca., is back from a Texas business trip.

Keith Schoppert of MKT RR has been transferred to Portland.

Ray Bell has succeeded retiring Herb Lewis with Palmer G. Lewis Co.. Spokane, Wa.

Bob Boucher is the new regional sales mgr. for Chandler Supply Co., Boise, Id.

Dick Harmer and Ed Anderson, Andersonia Forest Products. Inc.. Arcata, Ca.. have an interesting bit of history on the original Andersonia company (circa 1905 ) in their most recent mailins to the trade.

Jim Dorsher has won the Virginia Hardwood Co. "Salesman of the Year" award from the Monrovia, Ca., firm. "Most Improved Salesman" award was garnered by Glenn Parker. New to Virginia Hardwood's sales force is Dan Clausen.

John D. Ritchie has retired as American Plywood Assn. senior v.p. and sec. after a distinguished career of more than 48 years with the plywood industry.
