Randall Puckett, Alamo Lumber; Marvin Fraley and Dean Null, Higginbotham-Bartlett; Bill Robinson, Higginbotham Brothers; Parker Beebe, Beebe Lumber; John Lee Jones, Cassity Jones Lumber; Dan I-edermann and Dick lrdemrann, Olshan Lumber; Emmett McCoy and Gene Safaranski, McCoy's, and Walter Foxworth and Clay Bartrug, Foxwortb Galbraith, participated in the discussions.

Mlsslsstppl Bulldlng Materlal Dealers Assoclatlon's board of directors previewed the convention center whicb will be the site of the 1993 annual convention and Eade show during their July 17-18 meeting in Tupelo

A finance and membership committee was formed with Julia Banks, James Burnett, Ken Cavin, Tom Wiggins, Dale Joiner and Joe Alexander appointed to it. Joel Tboms, Builders Supply Co., Hattiesburg, was appointed to fill a vacancy on the board of dircctors.

New bylaws adopted by the board provide for an honorary membership category. Bill Reynolds, Chester Hall, Bobby Jamison, Wesley Rushing, Woody Woods, Donald Tyson and Bob Gatlin were nominated as the flust members.

Carollna-Tennessee Bulldlng Materlal Assoclatlon is holding area meetings in Wilmington, N.C.; Greensboro, N.C., and Spartanburg, S.C., on Sept. 8,9 and 10. Sept. 22, 23 and 24 gatherings will be beld in Cleveland, Smyrna and Jackson, Tn. Fayetteville, N.C., Summerville, S.C., and Columbia, S.C., will be the sites on OcL 6. 7 and 8. Asheville, N.C., will be the location for two seminrs: tbe second session of a yard manager class SepL 19 and Norville Spearman presenting profit planning on Oct. 17.
