Roddy Woodson, formerly with Slaughter Industries, Dallas, Tx., has purchased an interest in Princeton Builders Supply, Princeton, Tx., and is v.p. of sales & marketing, according to W. E. Washerlesky Jr., pres. Bill Baird is v.p. of operations and Walt Kattwinkle is industrial sales mgr.

R. Eugene Cartledge, chairman and c.e.o., Union Camp Corp., has been elected 1987 chairman of the American Forest Council, Washington, D.C. Donald F. Smith, La. mgr., Boise Cascade Corp., is chairman of AFC's forest resources committee. New to the executive board are Stephen K. Jackson, v.p., distribution div., marketing & advertising, Georgia-Pacific Corp., Atlanta, Ga., and Robert S. Cockroft. owner. Southern Star Lumber Co., McKenzie, Tn.

Ralph C. Joynes has been elected pres. and c.o.o. of USG Corp.

Norma Pacc and Robert Carswell have been nominated to the board of directors of Georgia-Pacific Corp., Atlanta, Ga., to fill the vacancies of the late Harold E. Sand and Robert L. Clare Jr., who is retiring from the board.

Chuck Knox has joined the sales team at American Lumber, Birmingham, Al.

Lee D. Pawluk has been promoted to southern area v.p. for Wickes Lumber, Atlanta, Ga., succeeding Edwin J. Mcl,elland, who has resigned.

Ted Higginbotham is now the Houston, Tx., sales rep for Azrock Floor Products, San Antonio, Tx.

Bob Rzepiejewski, Blake Builders Sup ply, Griflin, Ga., has completed the Building Material Merchants' Association lumber and building materials training course.

John Sheffield has been promoted to asst. mgr. of Scotty's, Lake Wales, Fl. Edwerd Marvin Wagoner II. Moore's Building Supply, Salisbury, N.C., married Avie Euritha Odom on Feb. 14,1987.

Jim Shaneyfelt is the new mgr. of 84 Lumber Co., Lake City, F-1.

James E. West is now v.p. of Franklin Brick Co., Nashville, Tn.

James J. "Joe" Snyder has been named director of the inspection school of the National Hardwood Lumber Association by pres. Walter M. Fields. Jr. He succeeds Robert Sabistina, who is now chief inspector.

Art Ramey has been promoted to exec. v.p. of sales, marketing & distribution for DG Mouldings, Marion, Va., according to Larry L. Davis, pres. Cerroll Cope is v.p. of research, development and technical services.

Thomas H. Cahir has been appointed corporate director of purchasing for The O'Brien Corp., overseeing regional purchasing groups in Houston, Tx., and Brunswick, Ga.

Don Garner, International Paper Co., Dallas, Tx., is leaving their treated wood program and will be reassigned to a different div. of l-P. based in Memphis, Tn.

Devid Slough, Swiff-Train Co., San Antonio, Tx., has been presented the 1986 Wilsonarr Distributor Salesman of the Year Award.
