Bobby L. Green, president of Marion Pressure Tieating Co., Marion, La., has been appointed to the Louisiana Forestry Commission.

A member of the Southern Pressure Tieating Association, American Wood Preservers Association and Louisiana Forestry Association, he is a member of the board of the Mississippi and Louisiana Wood Preservers Association and a past president of the Louisiana Wood Advisory Association.

Mayor pro tem of Marion, he also is president of B.L.G. Gas and Oil Resources Co., vice chairman of the Marion State Bank, co-owner of M.S.B. Insurance Agency, chairman of the administrative board of the Marion United Methodist Church and past president of the Louisiana Bicentennial Commission.
