Moore's Adds To Distribution

Moore's Lumber and Building Supplies has added a 50,000 sq. ft., $2 million Quik-Pik center at its Roanoke, Va., distribution center.

Linked to cash registers at the 64 stores, the new, automated operation enables the company to stock alnost 4,000 plumbing, hardware and paint items. Products are delivered weekly to the stores in nine states by a fleet of 70 trucks. Mark Cole is manager.
