How to Deliver High-Performance Homes and Protect Your Bottom Line

5 Books and Podcasts Young Professionals Should Download

In today’s competitive housing market, ensuring customer satisfaction and protecting your reputation is paramount. One powerful tool that can help you achieve both of these goals is the Residential Construction Performance Guidelines, Sixth Edition. The Residential Construction Performance Guidelines are the industry’s go-to recommendations for evaluating how homes should perform during the warranty period. By adhering to these guidelines, builders and remodelers can proactively address potential customer concerns and prevent issues from escalating into full-blown complaints.

One of the most effective ways for young professionals to learn about best business practices is to lean on the knowledge and advice of industry leaders.

Widely accepted by the home building and remodeling industry, these guidelines offer a comprehensive roadmap to delivering homes that excel in performance and meet customer expectations, all while safeguarding your bottom line.

To get the ball rolling, NAHB spoke to two YP members, Edwin Williams, CEO, ZenHammer in St. Louis and Johnson City, Mo.; and Robert Carroll, owner, Carroll Construction in Clinton, La., about their most influential reads (and podcast listens).
