Redrow embarks on East Midlands expansion programme REDROW PLC has embarked on an expansion programme across the East Midlands. The deal to acquire the awardwinning Radleigh Homes at the end of January has enabled Redrow to establish a new East Midlands division. Now, with the rebrand complete, the company has announced plans to increase its output from 200 units a year to more than 500 in the next three years – with the creation of a number of new jobs and opportunities for supplier and sub-contractor recruitment across the region. New posts are currently being created across all disciplines and a number of key appointments are set to be announced shortly. At the same time, Redrow East Midlands has unveiled its first Tom Finnegan, MD for Redrow Homes East Midlands development in the region – Knights Keep in Stretton, which is set to launch in the Autumn. The scheme, which is located on the outskirts of Burton-on-Trent, will feature 100 three and four-bedroom family homes. Redrow is also looking for strategic sites and land opportunities across Nottingham, Derby and Leicester to enable it to add to its existing portfolio of developments in the East Midlands. Tom Finnegan, managing director for Redrow Homes East Midlands, said: “We are in a strong position to deliver growth and are embarking on a period of considerable investment, which is set to result in the delivery of more quality family homes in great locations. “This will benefit local customers, colleagues and businesses within the supply chain”. In the financial year to the end of June 2016, Redrow reported a turnover of £1.38bn and profits of £250m.
