Goals of Usability Testing A study on user behavior on the web shows that they do not read slow sites and the sites with intricate designs. People don’t want to wait; they don’t want to learn how to use the homepage. There is no such thing like website training or instructions for the website. They want to grasp the functionality of the site immediately after a few seconds’ cursory scan of the page. From the companies’ point of view, the usability testing is a part of a larger effort to improve the profitability of products. There are a number of aspects to do so, which in end also benefits the users; the design decisions informed by data gathered from representative users to expose design issues so that they can be remedied, thus eliminating or minimizing frustration of the users.
