APPLYING FOR A BURSARY?
The C Card is a scheme for young people to access free condoms and lube to improve sexual health When used correctly during sex, condoms are the only type of protection that help prevent both sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy. Depending on your circumstances, you could be eligible for financial support while you ’ re at College. At each session, we have representation from CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health service) who are available to answer any questions you may have and also to support, signpost.
There is also plenty of opportunity to share, talk to other parents who also have a wealth of knowledge, but if you would rather just listen that is fine also. You can just sit in the background and listen, especially at first if you want to see how the group goes.
Hosted on Microsoft Teams, you can join or leave as any point (meetings are not recorded). The next three sessions are:
Walking With You is a parent led support group for anyone supporting children and young people, up to the age of 25, experiencing mental health difficulties. You can take part discussing shared experiences with other parents and carers as well as having mental health professionals from CAMHs on hand to support and answer any questions you may have.
