Regardless of whether you are here for business or leisure we are here to ensure you have what you need and whenever you want it.

Buckingham & Lloyds have been offering Luxury ApartHotels and Villas since May 2016 and are thrilled to be able to offer such prestigious accommodation in Kensington – one of the most sought out areas in London.

Our apartments encompass class and elegance whilst maintaining our high standards and offering wellproportioned rooms. All apartments overlook the beautiful expanse that is Hyde Park and can be rented for both short term and long-term stays.

We have put together this digital handbook to work as a quick guide, introduction of your room, our services and the local area.

HYDE PARK GATE Breakfast We offer a a full and freshly made breakfast hamper at the rate of £30 per person, per day. They include the following items: • • • • • • • • • •

Freshly squeezed orange juice Cold-pressed apple, carrot and ginger Berry and banana smoothie Greek yoghurt pot with granola Tropical fruit pancakes with maple syrup Seasonal fruit platter Freshly baked croissants Fetta and asparagus frittata Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel Smashed avocado, slow roasted tomatoes and crispy bagel

The possibility for a freshly home-cooked breakfast is available too with one of our Private Chefs.

We take pride in our sustainability; The glassware and hampers are reused and recycled.

May we please ask you to leave all items out for collection by the housekeeping team or a charge for replacement may incur Please advise us of any dietary requirements or allergies that we should be aware of.

Checking-Out Check out for all guests is at 11 am. We kindly ask you to respect this timing for the guests checking-in after you. If you would like a later check-out please speak to a member of our reception team. Late checkouts come with a £35 fee with latest check out at 1pm. This will strictly be based on availability.

WiFi We offer complimentary highs-peed internet in all our apartments. Please refer to the log-in details in the lounge of the apartment.

Smoking We operate a strict no smoking policy in all our apartments. Smoking is solely permitted on the outdoor terraces, however doors leading to these terraces must remain properly closed behind you. Failing to meet these guidelines will result in a GBP 1,000 fine.

Telephone Your in-room phone is connected to a 24-hour reception and concierge service. For outside calls please dial “0” prior to the country and area codes flowed by the number. For extension and emergency numbers please refer to the directory further back in the folder.

HYDE PARK GATE Parking If you are visiting us and brining your own car we do offer parking at a nearby parking facility. This parking facility is private and is staffed 24 hours therefor provides access 24 hours per day. It is a locked underground garage fully equipped with CCTV and security patrolled.

Parking charges are as follows 8 hrs £25.00 24 hrs £35.00

Transport PRIVATE TRANSPORT We are able to arrange a private pick up (or drop off) where you will be met by a driver at the airport.

Travel in style and avoid parking hassles by taking advantage of a private car service on an hourly rate; travel around London in an Mercedes S class, your driver dropping you off, waiting and picking you up wherever you please. This service is available at £40 per hour.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT Underground ‘Tube’ Stations: 10-min walk: Gloucester Road & High Street Kensington 15 to 20 min walk: South Kensington & Knightsbridge Black Cabs: In London, these are the main Taxi’s used. Black cabs are allowed to make use of the bus lanes that make them an efficient way to travel and are also very spacious.

Uber: The other popular option is Uber. In order to use this company you will need to download the app on your phone and enter your details.

Buses: A few useful bus routes that you may want to consider are listed below.

No. 9: Direction Aldwych/Somerset House passes the following, Knightsbridge, Green Park, Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross.

Direction Hammersmith will take you past Holland Park and the Design Museum.

No. 10: Direction King’s Cross passes, The famous Dorchester Hotel, Marble Arch, Bond Street, Selfridges Oxford Street and Oxford Circus.

No. 52 Direction Victoria, Harrods, Hyde Park Corner and Victoria Station.

No. 70 Direction Chiswick Business Park, goes to Portobello Road.

APARTMENT INFORMATION Amenities & Extras Our collection of residences have been finished to meet the standards of the world’s elite.

Each apartment comes with complimentary Molton Brown toiletries. Each apartment has a modern fully equipped kitchen with new, high standard appliances.

Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules remains at your disposal. We use a water filtrating system to offer you a sustainable alternative to plastic bottles.

Micro Down Hypo- Allergenic Pillows & Duvets; a selection of soft or firm, can be found in each bed.

The apartments all have bathrobes and slippers, please note that the slippers are complimentary, and you may keep them, but the bathrobes are not.

We provide complimentary daily housekeeping. In order to maintain the high standard and finishes of our apartments this service is compulsory so please let us know if there is a preferred time. Towels will be refreshed daily as well as the complimentary water, tea and coffee capsules.

Further amenities such as dental kits, shaving kits, deodorants and more can be purchased at reception.

All apartments are equipped with a first Aid Kit. They can be found in the cupboard under sink.

Appliance manuals available in each apartments can be found in one of the kitchen drawers. If you need help locating these please contact our reception team.

Safety and Security In order to keep you and your valuables safe and sound throughout the duration of your stay we have installed safes in all the apartments. 24HR CCTV is operational in public areas and outside the entrances of the buildings. When our security agency, Churchill Security, monitor the building they will always have their ID visible.

In case of emergency

Fire : Please exit the building immediately and raise the alarm by dialing 999.

Do not use the elevators. Please refer to the instructions on the back of the apartment’s main entrance for further instructions in case of fire.

CULTURE & THE LOCAL AREA Museums & Landmarks Not only are we located on the same street where Winston Churchill resided after resigning from Prime Minister in 1945, but we are just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most famous institutions, historical landmarks and museums such as the Royal Albert Hall, V&A, Kensington Palace and Gardens, and the Natural History Museum only to name a few. It’s our goal to change travel for good. That doesn’t just mean perfecting the way guests stay, but shrinking the footprints we leave behind too. Treading lighter. Exploring the world shouldn’t cost the Earth.

With that in mind, we’re taking steps to make Buckingham & Lloyds more sustainable. Eradicating single-use plastics from our aparthotels. Using refillable glass bottles. And working with brands such as Molton Brown and Cheeky Panda who share our vision for a greener, healthier, happier future.

Where possible, we support small businesses: Made-inBritain deli items in our hampers, local artwork decorating aparthotel walls and our private chefs at local farmers’ Market, choosing from produce picked a few miles up the road.

Luxury doesn’t mean compromising our beliefs. We have partnered with SHY Aviation for our Private Jet charters which consistently offset their carbon footprint. Finally, in Ibiza, you can set sail on a yacht safe in the knowledge that we’ve vetted the eco credentials of each company and we aim to do this for every . single. location.
