Meeting minutes for October 4th, 2021 Call to order: 8:04 pm Recent Events Food Bank of the Southern Tier • I forgot to take pictures because we were so busy! • Volunteers helped to fill and distribute 300+ boxes of food for those in need • Every month on the 4th Tuesday Broome County Public Library • Volunteers helped sort and scan books, registered for library cars, and filled out more of the inspirational cards Upcoming Events 13th Annual Miles for Matias (Collab with APO) • THIS Saturday 10/9 10am-2pm • If you ordered a shirt, you can pick it up at the event • All $ raised will go towards finding a cure for MS • Stop by the Peace Quad for free food and raffle tickets Kiwanis Sign Clean-Up • Sat. Oct. 23rd 9am to about 12pm • Help Kiwanis clean up their sign along the highway in Owego. Afterwards, we will go to TCRM to help clean up their grounds • Please note Owego is a 30 min drive away • Sign up by 10/20 at 11:59pm Food Bank of the Southern Tier • Tues. Oct. 26th 9am-12pm • Distributing Emergency Food • Plan to stay for the whole time • Sign ups open now until full Roberson Spooktacular • Sat. Oct. 30th 11am-3:30pm • 2 hr shifts • Help at activity or candy station • Only 4 spots left as of yesterday – sign up fast! Halloweekend at Ross Park Zoo • • •

Circle K District Event: NY Speaking • Come join us at our second District Convention of the year! Dues • If you would like to become an official member of Circle K International, there is a small yearly fee, also known as dues • $12.00 for the entire year • Insurance at CKI events • Official member of CKI • T-Shirt, ID card, pins, etc. • We will be collecting dues now through mid-November! Please see Sydney after the meeting to pay or follow the form in the GroupMe to pay by Venmo Committee Chair Applications • We still have ONE committee chair positions open (for new and returning members!) • Great way to grow your involvement with the club • Positions include: K-Family • Sign-ups in the GroupMe after this meeting Fellowship Meeting adjourned: 8:20 pm
