First revealed earlier this year as a special custom order for a European client, the A8 L extended from Audi is formidable luxury sedan that makes for a truly exceptional grand entrance. The body of the vehicle measures in at 6.36 metres and has a capacity to seat up to six passengers.

Finer details include convenient electronically adjustable seats upholstered with supple Valcona leather in glorious shades of creamy velvet beige. If the views out of the side windows don’t interest you, keep your chin up by watching the clouds go by through the glass panelling on the roof.

What is old is made new (and cool) again thanks to these impressive concept designs for the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 which pay tribute to the aero coupés of the 30s. Remarkable from every angle, enticing details of this 2+2 seater include the hallmark Mercedes gullwing doors which appear to blend almost seamlessly into the main frame of the vehicle. Keeping things high tech is the front windscreen that also serves as a transparent display that tracks the driver’s performance.

And to sweeten the deal, each vehicle will also be fitted with a pair of matching suitcases that can be stored in the ample luggage area located towards the front.
