TUBING AND ITS USES, TYPES AND MATERIALS OF TUBES _________________________________________________________________________

T

ube is a long, hollow metal, plastic, glass cylinder for carrying or transporting anything,

mostly liquids or gases. And it is used for pressure devices, mechanical applications, and instrumentation systems. But the electrical and optical cables can also be secured with a tube. Tubes are indicated with outer diameter and wall thickness, in inches or in millimeters. Tubes are often placed in applications such as medical devices which require accurate outside diameters. A gauge number determines the thickness of a tube.

Applications And Use Of Tubes 1. Industrial uses - The tubes are commonly used for industrial applications. Most generally, you're going to see it moving water, gas and liquid waste through industrial complexes. The movement of fluids is also an important factor for many lines of industrial production. 2. Automobile & transport - Cars, buses, airlines, ships, and other transport types use steel tubing to hold liquids and gases via engines and fuel lines. Steel tubing and tube bending services for exhaust pipes and muffler components are needed in the automotive sector.
