The 95 minutes that gave Egypt the thrills!

The Man of the Hour, Mohamed Salah, made Egypt’s flames burn in the 4th minute of the second half injury time of the incomparable match securing us all seats in the World Cup in Russia.

You could hear triumphs and sparks of celebrations all over Egypt the second Salah scored that last goal.

The 25 year old legend made history even before scoring the penalty goal during the last minutes of the match. He knew that with football anything can happen!

After Congo scored their 88th minute goal which basically meant defeat for most Egyptians, Salah had something else in mind. He didn’t take defeat as an option and fought through his desperation and raised himself and his whole team back up to continue the challenge. Throughout the stadium, you could hear the sound of despair and saw cries of defeat. Salah didn’t pay attention to the silence of the crowd but gave hope to all those Egyptians who had passion and faith in those Pharaohs to give us victory.

Salah’s commitment, leadership and humility certainly didn’t fail him when he sent Moukou the wrong way with his spot-kick – and the Jubilation in Egypt started that second.

There he was, the young legend making history in front of all of Egypt, better yet the world. All Egyptians along with The Egyptian Team and the coach Hector Cuper, all whose heartbeats would have almost stopped, hoping and praying for that ball to meet the net. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, incomparably and un-stoppably ran towards the ball in the 94th minute of the match scoring Egypt a place we have all been waiting for since 1990.

The Egyptian flag was raised once more across the country, honking cars and fireworks were seen all over the capital.

Egyptians all over the world are reserving their seats and counting the days for the long awaited appearance on the world’s biggest stage in 2018, Russia.

The mother-of-pearl dial is decorated by hand with a guilloché motif that stretches across its entire surface, before being coated in a slightly tinted layer of paint to give it a graceful gleam. Then, for the first time, the Manufacture›s artisans have produced a miniature painting by hand on the motherof-pearl. The results are supremely subtle, with all the details appearing truer than life. Some parts of the painting, such as the birds, have been covered with a layer of clear lacquer to add an impression of depth and to play with the material.

Born of artistic inspiration renewed with the artisan’s every brushstroke, each of the Métiers Rares “Rare Handcrafts” dials features a miniature work of art with its own personality.

Each dial is therefore unique, despite belonging to the same series of eight pieces. The artist›s handwork elicits endless admiration.

Meanwhile, the master gem-setter has enhanced each piece with precious stones. The bezel is adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds that bring out the poetic creation on the dial. A line of these eternal gemstones runs above the iconic RendezVous collection numerals on the flange to echo the string of stones that delicately surround the dial’s central painting. To complete the decoration of this true watchmaking treasure, the gem- setter has also inserted diamonds into each side of the case. This thoughtful addition gives prominence to dreams from every angle.

To mark the 74th Venice International Film Festival, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture, which has been a partner of the festival for over 12 years, is delighted to present an exclusive artistic edition of Rendez-Vous watches. Since its launch in 2012, the Rendez-Vous collection has always been associated with the world of cinema. This year once again, the romantic ambiance of the Most Serene Republic is a splendid backdrop against which to present these feminine pieces. The latest masterpieces issued from the Grande Maison’s Métiers Rares “Rare Handcrafts” workshop, the Rendez-Vous Sonatina pieces express three different stages of romantic feelings: seduction, romance, and love. Each one is released as a limited edition of eight pieces.

The Red Bull Air Race and Hamilton have been partners for more than a decade, and it seems fitting that our relationship will only deepen in 2017, the tenth season of the World Championship,” said Erich Wolf, the General Manager of Red Bull Air Race GmbH. “Our two brands share a passion for aviation and a dedication to the highest standards. The brand has been timing the skies since 1918, when the pioneering pilots of the era put their trust in the precision of its watches and navigation instruments. In addition to keeping the first American airmail service on track, Hamilton became the official watch of TWA, Eastern, United and Northwest in the 1930s.

Adventure joined accuracy as these instruments demonstrated their unrivaled expertise partnering the first American coast-tocoast air services which took commercial flying into the modern age.

Today, many squadrons use Hamilton watches as standard equipment, including South Korea’s 121st fighter Squadron, the Patrulla Aspa from Spain, the Patrol Squadron Forty from United States, and the Apache and F-16 Demo Team from the Netherlands, among others. Hamilton uses these associations to deepen its understanding of pilot needs and the watch functions required to develop timepieces designed for pilots, such as the Khaki Takeoff for Air Zermatt, a transport and rescue helicopter unit in the Alps.

A special edition watch will be released for the occasion, the Khaki Air Race, available in two versions: a Team Hamilton model with orange and black dial and special case back printing to enhance Hamilton and Nicolas Ivanoff’s strong relationship. And an Official Timekeeper model with blue and grey dial with a red second hand honoring Red Bull Air Race colors and different case back printing.

Both versions have a stainless steel case in either 38 or 42mm size, with a choice of black leather strap or stainless steel bracelet.

Hamilton becomes Official Timekeeper of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, known as the new dimension of motorsports. Featuring 14 of the best race pilots, among which Nicolas Ivanoff, the brand ambassador since 2005, this pure motorsport competition is a visual spectacle unlike any other, combining speed, precision and skill. Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial track made of 25 meters-high air-filled pylons.

14 pilots are competing in the Master Class category in eight races across the globe for the title of Red Bull Air Race World Champion. The Challenger Cup, with 9 pilots, offers young talents the chance to develop their low-altitude flying skills and to experience the thrills of the sport. The 2017 race calendar will take place in eight cities around the world starting with its first stop in Abu Dhabi on February 10-11, a celebratory event marking the diamond 75th Red Bull Air Race.
