Working hours: Salary
22.5 hours per week (0.6 post) £17,000 per annum (gross for 0.6 post) 5% pension upon completion of probation
Homeworking Location Main Purpose of the Job To devise and implement a comprehensive fundraising and events strategy in order to maximise income, meet and manage financial targets and assist in the charity’s growth, with consideration to the values and objectives of the charity.
Main Duties:
Assist with the development of the charity’s fundraising strategy and be responsible for its implementation
Be responsible for the organisation of internal and external events
Map out supporter categories to assist in targeted fundraising
Generate corporate links with businesses to support our work
Promote and support external fundraising activities
Develop fundraising opportunities in relation to our work
Develop and support the maintenance of our supporters base
Ensure all activities and events are completed with profitability in mind
Develop and organise a regular calendar of public events hosted by the charity
Assist with the production of fundraising materials
Generate increased income from existing sources and identify and research potential funding opportunities
Identify trends in income levels and funding mix
Consider non-fiscal fundraising and how this can be improved
Review and report on all key information and areas for improvement on a timely basis
Identify new channels of fundraising, such as sponsorship and grants, producing and supporting bid development
Capitalise on online and social media fundraising opportunities
