• Achievements: 1st XI - 3rd Rd ISFA & Boodles Cup qualification (2022) ISFA League (2016) Runners Up. Outstanding coaching team led by Mr Vila which includes full time Football coach Mr Andy Mullins who works with all the squads.
• Fixture Card – 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI, U16A&B, U15A&B all play in the Southern Independent School League during Lent Term. School fields an AE team at both U13 & U12 in the Michaelmas Term. U13A enter the National ISFA Cup & Trophy Competitions.
• Representative Football – a number of current pupils are currently playing Academy football. Old Berkhamstedian Josh Mullins has signed an Academy contract with Watford FC, Jonathan Bond is the current goalkeeper at LA Galaxy in the MLS, Henry Wise (Watford FC 2019), Alfie Jones (Crawley Town 2019)

• Coaching: Led by the PE department including former and current Super League players. Coaching supplemented from Saracens Mavericks.
• 2022: U19 & U14 qualified for National Finals. 2018 & 2020: U14 National Schools Champions. 2019: The most successful season for Netball in the Schools history. U19, U16, U14 all qualified for National Finals.
• Opponents include – St George’s Weybridge, Millfield, Guildford High, GSAL, Beaconsfield High and Wellington College.

• 1 Squad Session a week (PE/Games) • 1 after school practice a week • Athletic Development Sessions • Mid-week & Saturday fixtures • Holiday Shooting programmes • Representative opportunities
What support can a sports scholar expect to receive?
• Scholarship Mentor – the link between school and sporting commitments outside school.
• Physiotherapist (Jess Rider) – weekly clinic (currently Wednesday PM) to offer medical support to sports scholars and the schools’ elite sports men and women.
• Athletic Development Coaches (Mr Burgess & Miss Gibbons) – two full time Athletic Development coaches. Every scholar should be following an individual conditioning programme.
• Learning Support Team– offer study skills support and extra academic support
• School Counselling Team – emotional & additional support
• Director of Sport (Mrs Vila) – i/c Scholarships. Field any concerns.

Scott joined the School in Year 9 on a
scholarship and represented the Cricket 1st XI for four seasons (Captain for 2 years) and 1st XI Football. Scott was also been an integral part of the Bucks CB U17s & Academy squads in recent years. He studied Economics, Geography & Psychology at A level and is now reading Law & Politics at Cardiff University whilst pursuing his cricket and a place in the MCCU set up.
