The Plant Atlas 2020 Project

Don’t miss your 50% discount offer—full details inside

Plant Atlas 2020 is the most powerful statement ever produced on the state of our wild and naturalized plants. It presents the results of field surveys by the BSBI, building on past atlas surveys undertaken by the Botanical Society in the twentieth century and draws on the work of thousands of botanists who covered the entirety of Britain and Ireland from 2000 to 2019.

The Atlas summarizes the trends impacting the current state of the British and Irish flora, assessing the changes since the 1950s and analyzing the drivers of change, such as habitat loss, pollution and climate change.

The results of the Plant Atlas project have been recorded in a 2-volume printed Atlas and an online Atlas which will be launched on 8 March, 2023.
