PRIMARY LOGO

PRIMARY LOGO The logo combines various elements from UNLV and Campus Life. The symbol uses the tip of the Hey Reb hat as the base to symbolize UNLV as the foundation that Campus Life is grounded in. The red pillars represent the FDH building - the center of Campus Life offices. There are seven pillars to represent each department within Campus Life.

The typeface chosen mimics the curves found on FDH, Hey Reb logo, and UNLV typeface. “Campus” is uppercase to symbolize the sturdy structures that make up the UNLV campus. “Life” is lowercase to symbolize the growing and ever-changing students and environment.

A brand’s typeface is its visual voice. A strong typeface differentiates a brand. Museo should be used primarily for the Campus Life slogan “ignite excellence” and headers. Metrophobic should be used primarily for body copy and header in some circumstances.

The Campus Life red and grays use the same UNLV swatch PMS.

BUSINESS CARD

BUSI NE SS C ARD The business card uses the alternative logo in the front to associate Campus Life with UNLV. The logo is left justified to establish the hierarchy. The contact info is right justified. The phone, fax and email follow the name and title because it is the most used information.

LE TTE RHE AD The letterhead uses the alternate logo. The symbol is utilized as the watermark. The footer curve follow the same angle and points as the curve in the primary logo. The pattern has circular elements to compliment the curve. The information follows the same order as the business cards.

BROC HURE The brochure introduces the red images as part of Campus Life identity, The red image becomes distinct and unique to the brand. The bottom has the same curve from the logo and red below it is a lighter shade then the image. Images are place in circle elements to compliment the curve.
