Partnership Packages

Provide Hope, Healing & Opportunity Our Mission To provide needed financial support to Bryan Health so it can offer the best in health care to the patients and families we have the pleasure to serve.

Each year community minded businesses like yours have the opportunity to partner with Bryan Health through outreach and events. This partnership program has grown in great strides in both members and recognition. We celebrate our partners throughout the year, not simply at events, but in highly visible sites so Bryan’s patrons, guests and employees can see companies joining forces with Bryan to elevate quality of life through better health. What started as a handful of business partners has expanded to a variety of organizations — both local and national, small businesses to major corporations — each expressing their commitment to outstanding health care in our region. The Bryan Foundation annually identifies key initiatives within Bryan Health that rely on philanthropic support. They address future health care needs, as well as the immediate needs of patients during their care journey.

The 2024 Bryan partnership program initiatives* are • April Sampson Cancer Center program support for patients and families • Bryan College of Health Sciences – Medical Sciences Focus Program • Women & Children’s Health As a Bryan partner, you are an important and integral part of Bryan’s commitment to health care excellence in the region. Whether meeting today’s growing health care needs or equipping us for future needs – your gift will have far-reaching impact.

* The Bryan Foundation recognizes that each business has a unique set of interests they would like to support. Please let us know if you would like a customized list of initiatives to support through the Bryan partnership program.

April Sampson Cancer Center The April Sampson Cancer Center will provide cancer patients, their families and care teams a state-of-the-art facility where they can receive centralized cancer care under one roof. The Cancer Center opens early Spring 2024.

Your Partnership Impacts – Patient and Family Support Programs The April Sampson Cancer Center’s mission is to provide individualized care and support to cancer patients and their families.

Key areas of focus are: • Helping Hands – Removes obstacles patients may have so they can get the care and equipment they need. This reduces stress for the patient during treatment. Examples include transportation assistance, holiday meals or prosthetic supplies • Moving Forward, Together – Creates communities of support and guidance for those navigating cancer. Spanning from newly diagnosed to survivorship, first-time to reoccurrence, so no one walks their cancer journey alone • Environments of Healing & Comfort – Recognizes that the environment in which you receive care is as important as the treatment itself. This fund focuses on incorporating soothing elements such as artwork, music and nature throughout the cancer center. It also provides programs to help patients and families find solace through creation or enjoyment of these elements

Bryan College of Health Sciences – Medical Sciences Focus Program Together, Bryan College of Health Sciences and Lincoln Public Schools offer the Medical Sciences Focus Program at Northwest High School. • Explore health care careers while earning college credits • Receive training for entry-level health care positions, such as nursing assistants or phlebotomists • Gain a greater understanding of health sciences Engaging students at the high school level is critical as our state faces an increasing shortage of health care workers and an aging population whose needs will grow.

Your Partnership Impacts – Student Support and Programs • Advanced equipment – Provides simulators and other artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for students to explore and try new experiences. “See one, try one,” is a phrase often heard during medical education, and this helps them identify strengths and interests as they get ready to pursue degrees and training programs • Real-world experience – Supports the opportunity for students to pursue phlebotomy or nursing aide (CNA) certifications by offsetting testing fees • Scholarships – Removes financial obstacles so students can earn college credits their junior and senior years. A jump start toward their college studies

Women & Children’s Health Women & Children’s Health at Bryan Medical Center provides care to families from throughout Nebraska and the surrounding states. To help ensure the best possible beginnings for all moms and their babies, Bryan has developed a clinical maternal health education team comprised of a nurse educator and physician. This team works with first responders and critical access hospitals providing onsite instruction and simulation drills to increase knowledge and fluency in emergency care for mothers or newborns experiencing emergency complications.

Your Partnership Impacts – Outreach Education • Simulation Drills – Patient simulators have become a powerful tool in health care education. The ability to learn, watch, then do has allowed care providers to master their skills more quickly and proficiently. Dollars from the Bryan Partnership program will be used to purchase a birth simulator to create realistic simulation drills of pregnancy complications and delivery emergencies. • Onsite Education – Bringing the training to those who need it is an essential part of this program’s success. Bryan’s clinical maternal health educator team travels where the training is needed, as well as making sure providers in the immediate Lincoln/Lancaster area also have access to these important trainings. • Solutions to Nebraska’s Health Challenges – Nebraska’s “maternity deserts” have been a frequent news story. Reaching these rural areas lacking health care resources and transportation to medical care takes an extended period of time. Partnership support will help prepare these first responders and will directly impact the challenges facing our Nebraska neighbors in these “maternity desert” communities.
