Mount Dajti is 1,613 m above sea level and is located on the edge of Tirana, Albania. It is considered the 'Natural Balcony of Tirana'. Dajti Mountain can be reached through a narrow asphalt mountain road onto an area known as Fusha e Dajtit.

You can find animals like wild boar, Eurasian wolf, red fox, European hare, brown bears, and wildcats.

Maja Jezerce is the highest peak of Bjeshkët e Nemuna (aka Accursed Mountains) and it is 2694m high. Maja Jezerce doesn’t have a lot of animals or plants but does have plenty of different floral species. It is also known to be an easy hike.

Mount Çika is a mountain in the southwestern region of Albania bordering the Ionian Sea and the Shushica Valley. It stands at 2,044m above sea level and is the 85th most prominent mountain peak in Europe. It is also part of the Llogara National Park, which is noted for its rich biodiversity and vegetation. It has beautiful trees like the Bulgarian fir, Austrian pine, Bosnian pine , and Macedonian pine. There are also beaches located on the west side including the Himarë, Palasa, Dhermi, and Jala. This mountain was even included in Lord Byron’s epic poem “Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage.”

Maja e Thatë is 2,406-metre-high and is located within Valbonë Valley National Park. It is rich in beech and pine forests, while the higher slopes consist of very steep dolomite and limestone rock walls, suitable for mountaineering and rock climbing.

Tomorr is a mountain range in the region of Berat and Skrapar, in Albania standing at 2,417 m high. Tomorr is in the Tomorr National Park, where you can find a plethora of different trees, plants, and flora species. There are also plenty of animal species like bears, wolves, and birds. Tomorr is also known as the “holy mountain” for Albanians, and it is a site where annual pilgrimages take place in August.

It is also considered the home of the deities. One thing to consider is that the mountain cannot be accessed at all times of the year. It is closed anytime according to weather conditions and when the access is not cleared of snow. The area is characterized by an impressive landscape and beautiful nature. Expect a steep trail when you visit
