Message MESSAGE FROM THE BRS PRESIDENT Serving BRS for 12 years full of learning experiences taught me the significant lessons in life – humility and servant leadership. Through BRS, I was able to serve my true purpose – to serve other people before myself, to share my talents and expertise, to learn from my experiences, and to attain a life that I can be proud of. It is an avenue for me to step up and be more of myself, and achieve true success through serving the community. This organization indeed inspired a lot of individuals who have stories to tell of service and leadership upholding the values they learned and experienced from BRS which were influenced by the backbone of BRS – our Past Presidents and Alumni. BRS is the only socio-civic organization in Bogo City that upholds its timeless mission, vision, and objectives which stands until today celebrating its 101st Annual Anniversary with a theme of “Rising Above the Adversities”. We’ve been through difficult times and adversities, but we’ve always been able to rise and redeem the youth from the clutches of poverty, ignorance, and moral degeneration through education, leadership development, and values formation. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, we rose and celebrated the centennial celebration successfully in a virtual setting. We were able to cope with our changing world or place. The BRS will always be resilient despite the challenges because we have proved it in the past, we are proving it now and we will prove it in the coming years to come. For this year’s celebration, we highlight the launching of the BRS Theme Song, showcasing the Grand Recital of Bogohanon talents, and as always the giving of awards and recognition to all Bogohanons who succeeded in their respective fields. It is a living proof that in every field of profession or endeavor we see or hear of Bogohanons ranking high in recognition in various places. And as a president of BRS, I am immensely grateful to all sponsors, benefactors and donors who have been supporting BRS all through these years. With the full support of its members, with great pride, we pledge to continue the legacy of BRS with its noble mission and vision to uplift the youth and become future leaders. For today’s generation, be a servant leader and a redeemer of BRS. Keep educating yourself, dreaming more, and spreading humanity and unity among others. It is now your turn to shine, step up to the plate, and take responsibility. I hope that the values set up by the founder of BRS will stay with you in every walks of your life. Find your true purpose. God bless and be more!

brs THEME SONG "We Are Redeemers" Verse 1: For life is a mess, perfection is no rest Hungry for truth and accuracy, thriving the world full of adversity

And within you see the hope, It shatters the fears you just hold Fixing yourself to be fine Taking it one step at a time Pre-Chorus:

Living the stones of greenery, encourages one for curiosity But somehow it gauges in distress, leaving one to confess

And it's okay not, to be okay And it's okay not, to go astray

Pre-Chorus:

Repeat Chorus

That it's okay not, to be okay That it's okay not, to go astray

Bridge (RAP): Redeemers, we're seekers and not just dreamers When life gets tough, we all are believers Against all odds, we're not just achievers Redeemers through it all, society's one and all (Forever!)

Chorus: Yes, we are Redeemers, discovering life's ahead Yes, we are Redeemers, growing out's one shed And to lead the light to everyone, live a life for everyone We may be bent but not to be broken We will survive and not be shaken You have dreams, let's make it real Our dream has been redeemed! Verse 2: Life always push us hard, everyday struggling to move forward Trying our self to pull in through, caught up confuse where to go 12
