The level 3 international foundation diploma (IFD) course is studied over a short 30-week period (8 months) split into 2 semesters. The programme allows students to complete their study in a shorter period of time over other alternatives on offer. The diploma offers students excellent pathways to computer science, business, engineering, health sciences and higher finance degrees.

Access
Academic Entry Requirements:
To enroll in the IFD programme, students need to meet either of the following requirements
IGCSE/O-LEVEL
IGCSE/GCSE ‘O’
Levels with passes in 5 subjects at a minimum grade of ‘C’. These must include Mathematics and English.
2 E Grades from a UK A-Level Board.
For students with the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), a mean grade of at least C- is required, including passes in English and Mathematics.

Programs Qualification Time
1) International Foundation Diploma
Successful completion with a minimum of 22 points.
The timetable is a two-semester model with 15 weeks per semester: 13 teaching weeks and 2 additional weeks to prepare for and conduct assessments.
Each semester will be approximately 3 months and 3 weeks. There will be 1-2 week’s break after the first semester.
Enrollment and examination table:
Applicants must normally be between 16-19 years old by 31st December in the year that they start IFD.Applicants who are 16 may be accepted in exceptional cases but such students will have limited progression options.
