MINI SKIRT
Mini skirts are really making their way back into the fashion world, in more casual looks or dressed up for a night out. This trend is worn to create several different aesthetics. Mini skirts are can be worn for school, going out with a tighter top and chunky boot, or as a statement piece with a basic top. Mini skirts were seen a lot in the 2000s, more so the low waisted look at that time. I would consider this trend a macro trend as its always been a piece people come back to.
I think the mini skirt will continue to be a trend throughout the years as it can be a basic go to piece with any outfit.
STATEMENT JEWELRY
Over the past few seasons statement jewelry has become a big trend in the fashion world. This trend is with all types of jewelry like earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and as shown in the picture rings. This trend could be seen historically in the egyptian times with the collared necklaces, dangling earrings, and thick rings. I believe this trend could be seen as a micro trend because as it may always be prevalent, a more minimal clean look with smaller pieces may make its way back. I think this trend will always be used but could decline in popularity over time.
ELEVATED BASIC
Elevated basics have become a big trend in the fashion. Being comfy but also looking put together and cute is a look many people go for just for an everyday outfit. This trend can be worn for several different occasions, leaning more towards the casual side. There is no particular targeted customer as this trend can be worn by everyone. I believe this is a macro trend, because looking put together as well as comfy is a look alot of people go for. I think the popularity of this trend will increase as it is effortless yet trendy and cute.
MATCHING SETS
Matching sets whether they are casual or more dressy have been a big trend recently. Matching sets can more worn more casually like matching sweat sets or shorts or more fancy as shown in the picture. There is no particular targeted customer for this trend, as everyone can wear this trend. I believe this is a macro trend because matching sets are easy and make someone look more put together without much effort.
I predict this trend will increase in popularity, with both the casual and more dressy sets.
LOW RISE
The trend of low rise has emerged from the 2000s and made its way back into the fashion world. This is a very big trend especially with denim pieces. This trend is not geared towards a certain group, yet it is most popular among women. Considering this was already a trend back in the 2000s I believe it is a macro trend and is here to stay. Although that may be a controversial opinion the low rise made its way back and I think it is here to stay for awhile.
