Introduction from the CEO

We’re delighted to announce the eCase Customer Conference will be held in Melbourne from Monday 24 July to Tuesday 25 July at the Novotel Melbourne on Collins.

Bringing together professionals from residential aged care, retirement living, home care and disability care organisations, the conference will provide an engaging and thought-provoking forum for knowledge sharing and discussion.

Our conference theme “Connecting Care: Advancing Person-centred Care through Technology” reflects the digital transformation that is taking place across our industry and will be a major focus across the two days. A series of tailored workshop sessions will provide you with an opportunity to learn from your industry peers and eCase experts. Customer case studies are also a key aspect of our conference programme – providing you with opportunities to hear from a number of customers that are achieving excellence.

Live product demonstrations and access to our team of Customer Success Consultants for one-on-one conversations will ensure you are able to take full advantage of your time at the conference. In addition, we’re delighted to have a number of complementary industry vendors sponsoring the event and sharing the latest updates on their products and services with you.

This two-day event will provide an opportunity for you and your team to:

• learn about strategic product development and product roadmaps

• see the latest new eCase product functionality

• participate in product workshops and training sessions

• collaborate and exchange ideas for future product development

• network with your industry peers and other aged care vendors

• meet and engage with the broader Health Metrics team

• be inspired and challenged by our high-profile Keynote Speakers

We’re very excited to have two extraordinary people deliver the Keynote Sessions at the conference. Adam Spencer, one of Australia’s most dynamic and engaging minds, and a self-confessed ‘Maths Geek’ will take us on a journey to explore how we make rapidly changing technology work for us. Adam will also lead a panel discussion on ‘The Role of Technology in Addressing Workforce Shortages’ – a topic of great relevance to our industry.

On Tuesday afternoon Sam Bloom will deliver our closing Keynote Session. If you don’t know of Sam for her sporting feats – she’s won two golds and one bronze at the World Para Surfing Championships and represented Australia in paracanoeing – then you might know her as the inspiration for the global hit movie, Penguin Bloom. Sam’s story of her life journey is sure to leave us all inspired and better equipped to face the challenges life sometimes presents us with.

After a four-year break from live customer events, we’re also ready to celebrate being back together again and take time to enjoy each other’s company in a social setting. On Monday evening we’re heading to Melbourne Town Hall, for a night of fine food, fun and entertainment – with a special ‘Great Gatsby’ theme to lighten the mood! Our special guest performer, Brad Blaze is also sure to keep you entertained with his spectacular speed painting show!

We cannot wait to see you all in Melbourne in July for what promises to be a couple of very busy, productive and engaging days.

Keynote Speakers

Adam Spencer

Adam Spencer has hosted award-winning breakfast radio shows in Australia’s toughest markets and live current affairs TV. He has won improvised theatre competitions and once interviewed John Travolta in front of 75,000 people. Adam prides himself on the high level of energy, engagement and entertainment that he provides whenever on stage.

With 25 years of experience in television, radio and events, Adam loves curating challenging and thought-provoking conversations. He has interviewed Prime Ministers, Hollywood stars, Fortune 500 CEOs, Nobel Prize-winning scientists and Australians of the Year. He’s informative, fun and guaranteed to impart insights you’ve never heard before.

Sam Bloom

Sam had everything she had always dreamed of. She’d travelled extensively, fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a nurse and was a happily married mother of three young boys. She spent her time raising her family on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and ran, swam, biked and surfed every chance she had.

Without warning, the dream turned into a nightmare. On a 2013 family holiday in Thailand, Sam leant against a rotten balcony railing falling through it and crashing 6 metres onto the concrete below.

Broken and hopeless, Sam reached her outer limits of physical and mental suffering. But with courage, determination and a little help from an unlikely feathered friend, she made her way back from the edge, scarred but undefeated.

Sam and her family’s remarkable story is captured in the internationally best-selling book, Penguin Bloom, as well as a major motion picture starring Naomi Watts.

Executive Roundtable

Executive Roundtable Event

Tuesday 25 July 9:00am – 11:30am

Novotel on Collins, Melbourne

Topic: The Role of Technology in Supporting Workforce Attraction, Optimisation and Retention.

As the Aged Care sector seeks to rebuild operational efficiency and profitability post-pandemic, operators are facing a multitude of challenges - with workforce attraction and retention being highlighted the number one concern for the sector. With 25,000 workers required over the next 2 years to meet the current reforms, and a current retention rate of just 30% what are the strategies operators can deploy today to efficiently address this challenge?

As a long-term provider of technology solutions for the aged care sector we’re committed to making sure our products and services are fully aligned with the needs of the industry.

And so we ask what role can technology play in helping operators to meet these challenges?

Who should attend: C-Suite Executives within the aged care sector focused on improving business efficiency and quality care outcomes including CEO’s, GM’s, MD’s, CTO’s, CFO’s, COO’s and CIO’s.

Why attend: this exclusive roundtable event will provide an environment for aged care executives to share experiences with industry peers and consider best practice approaches to meeting the current and future challenges of our sector.

Participation in this event will also provide an opportunity for direct feedback and input into the future strategic direction of the eCase platform and the journey to achieve digital transformation.
