As members of the Brockton School Community, staff, parents, and students (and in consideration of an individual’s age, maturity, and diverse abilities), are expected to review and abide by the Brockton School Community Code of Conduct. The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to promote Brockton as a safe, caring, orderly, respectful, and inclusive place to learn and grow. The Code of Conduct shall apply to all school activities, including those on and off school premises, during and outside regular school hours, on school coordinated transportation, during school-sponsored events, and when presenting/speaking as a member of the community, formally or informally. The Code of Conduct may also apply to other circumstances, not necessarily related to school sponsored activities, that impact the school environment. The Brockton School Community Code of Conduct is included in the Annual Start-Up package and will be referenced throughout the year. Note: In addition to the Code of Conduct, all members of the Brockton School Community are expected to follow the laws of British Columbia and Canada as well as Human Rights Codes and additional requirements.
