FROM OUR CLUB CAPTAIN – WILLIAM WEST

Overall, it has been a good season with plenty to celebrate. To win the trio of Aberdeenshire trophies is no mean feat and shows that our current group as well as our youth development is in a good place for the future.

However, the squad was disappointed in the defence of our title, but we are as motivated as ever to make up for that next season.

We've said goodbye to a few colleagues this season but have brought in quality replacements in Josh and Connor who have fitted into our culture well and will be exciting players to watch next season. Its also Ross's 1st full season and he is proving to be an excellent signing from Mark and Bax as well as his mate Greg who has returned to the club and improved the group with his range of passing and enthusiasm.

During the 2022/23 season we managed to recognise the commitment and dedication of Bryan and Paul with their testimonials which was great to be part of.

I was personally proud of the team's efforts in the Scottish Cup beating league opposition and putting a good account of ourselves against Arbroath.

Ryan Sargent and Keiran Simpson have continued their impressive development establishing themselves as 1st team regulars, but it would be great for some of the current Aberdeenshire League Champions to follow in their footsteps.

Lots to be thankful for but also plenty of drive and ambition from the squad to push on next season
