DANCE BREAKS! HIGH NOTES! KICK LINES! SONGS THAT COME OUT OF NOWHERE!
The people you will see on this stage tonight spend their time pretending that breaking out into song and dance is a feature of everyday life. When they leave the stage, they remember that most people do not pour their hearts out in beautiful ballad to express their innermost feelings. But that is why people come to us. We have scoured the pantheon of musical theatre numbers to bring you a show that celebrates and acknowledges how wonderful and silly musical theatre is.
As we spend our days refining our talents, we grind, sweat, cry, and bleed to be at the top of our game. We work so hard to strengthen our weaknesses that we often forget our strengths. We are taking this performance opportunity to remind ourselves why we love what we do and share that love, passion, and joy with you all tonight.
And since our student debt continues to grow, we are grateful that you will pay to watch us kick our faces, belt to the high heavens, and do what we love to do. Tonight, we perform for you and for the love of musical theatre.
