20 16 The weather was clear, but cold, for the December 3rd twilight parade through the Village. I counted 38 entries, ending with the arrival of Santa Claus. Clockwise starting above: Sidener Academy drum line, Broad Ripple Village Association rubber duck and rainbow bridge, Broad Ripple Kiwanis, Steve Pearson in the Backyard Birds/ Canine Companions for Independence car, and Santa.
Magnet Open House at Broad Ripple High School

Broad Ripple Magnet High School held an arts magnet open house on November 30th. All forms of art were on display. Drawings and paintings were in the lobby. In the main auditorium music, dance and art were performed. The BRHS Golden Singers were on stage, along with dancers and senior Machalia Gray creating art using colored chalk and pastels. In the orchestra pit was the advanced band and at the front of the house was the advanced orchestra.
