Olivia has studied at the Art Institute of Chicago with a major in Fashion Design She has received the Nicole Miller Award and won 1st place in the Winzeler Gear Fashion Competition Olivia went back to South Korea post graduation and attended The Bonuru Professional Wedding Dress Academy where she studied in Bridal Gown Construction and Finishing Techniques She later, returned to the states interning at Zac Posen and Natori Co. While interning, Olivia was an Associate Bridal Designer at Jaehee Bridal Atelier in New Jersey Currently, Olivia is one of six designers at the Chicago Fashion Incubator at Macy’s Aesthetic: Traditional, Classic, Unique, Modern Price Point: $2,000-$4,000


Mission Statement My bridal collection combines an appreciation for the traditional and classic with the modern aesthetic and practicality for brides. Fluid silhouettes, the use of luxurious fabrics, and attention to detail are the principles that I integrate when I approach each gown. My goal is to lead my clients to the ultimate experience and outcome when it comes to customization, using my ability to match a look to individual bride's personality, body type, and preferences. Most importantly, I help brides to bring out their own innate fashion sense and make it reality with my design, construction, and technical skills. I believe fashion and style reflect one's own persona and worth. I make one-of-a-kind custom gowns for brides at affordable prices. All of my gowns are produced in Chicago, and I work with local artists, seamstresses, fabric vendors to help small business owners and artists in Chicago. -Olivia Hwang
