Which subjects should I choose for IGCSE? At the Year 9 Options Evening students and parents learn all about the International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) that students will study toward in Years 10 & 11. Students will find out how many subjects they are required to take, which subjects are compulsory and which are optional.

There are many roles of responsibility that students are able to take on while at BSB, including becoming a Class Representative, a member of the Student Council or Eco Committee, a House Captain, Vice Captain or lunch monitor to name just a few. One of the recent additions to this long list is that of Assistant School Librarian
One of the key areas of learning in the British National curriculum is Literacy. The programme spans from EYFS up to Key Stage 4 and takes the students along a clear path of progression. Each year the Art Department put on a wonderful exhibition, displaying student work and this year was certainly no exception. With drinks and nibbles on offer to those in attendance at the formal opening, a good crowd of parents and students turned up to enjoy the night
